Centromarca exhibition: Bauli Group and its commitment to the environment

The Bauli Group presents its commitment to the environment at “The Future is looking beyond” digital photo exhibition promoted by Centromarca. Through evocative images and captions, the exhibition highlights how companies are contributing to sustainable development.

The exhibition digitally showcases the contents of the homonymous exhibit organized by Centromarca from 3 to 31 October 2020 in Piazza Mercanti, with the support of the City of Milan and part of the Festival of Sustainable Development 2020 programme organized by Asvis.

On this occasion, the Bauli Group decided to shed light on the importance of the virtuous use of water, an essential element to life and unfortunately a limited resource. Not only is water the essence of life on earth, but it is also one of the key ingredients in Bauli’s products, making them soft and fragrant.

To preserve this natural resource, the Group implements best practices to reduce water consumption: in the last year alone, 80 thousand cubic metres of water have been saved, equal to the average consumption of 400 families in a year, or a country of approximately 1,200 people.

The Group’s environmental commitment is not limited to attention to water waste: Bauli embeds sustainability in all its current and future projects, with the aim of becoming the benchmark of “positive snacking” for its consumers and partners. Among the best practices, the Group works to reduce the raw materials used in packaging and optimise logistics activities to reduce the number of journeys made by articulated vehicles, thereby reducing fine dust and CO2 emissions.

The exhibition is also available online until 30 June 2021 on the Centromarca website.
